Beyond the sea ‡T 2006 When heading NZ by air, I found a magazine covered an article about north most land, jotted down it. Several years later, I got an opportunity to go there.
I drove to a beach and reached there about 187 miles, but night came. So I decided to wait sunrise there. Then dawn came, I blasted off to climb a low ridge.
The beach curves alongside of the peninsula, wind brings waves, one right after the other. As I felt somehow some kind of power there, held my breath, and popped a shutter. After that, I put the picture of my father on the beach. I decided to take pictures here in NZ, walking down the sunny hill.
